"What then is the remedy? There is only one way out of this abyss of despair: to adopt and accustom ourselves, during our lifetime, to Nature's process of the withdrawal of the spirit current from the body, which is still in a conscious state. This may be done with the help of a Master, and may be accomplished without any suffering or trouble whatever. This is not only a possibility but is a remarkable fact. Our joy will know no bounds when we come into possession of the secret that has baffled man for so many centuries. We become supermen, having possession of a key to peace and heaven, the life of which we had till then only read about in the sacred scriptures."
- Kirpal Singh Hi.
On Twitter, I can be reached at: @Michaelsfs Peace, Michael Turner “At the time of initiation, the Master teaches the disciple the technique of withdrawing his consciousness from the entire body, up to the eye center, where he comes in contact with the Sound Current. The Mystics refer to the process of vacating the body and withdrawing the consciousness to the eye center as ‘dying while living’....The essential difference between ordinary death and dying while living is that the soul's link with the body is not broken. The organs of the body continue to function, and the soul returns to the body at the end of the meditation time. An adept who has perfected the art of dying while living can leave the body and return to it at will.”
- Maharaj Charan Singh "The first-hand experience we receive, through the kindness of a real Saint, is in itself the solution to the problem of death. According to the Bible, "Unless you are born anew, you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." So to be born anew is to leave one’s body and enter into the Beyond"
- Sant Kirpal Singh "You that love lovers,
This is your home. Welcome! In the midst of making form, Love made this form that melts form, With love for the door, Soul the vestibule. Watch the dust grains moving In the light near the window. Their dance is our dance. We rarely hear the inward music But we're all dancing to it nevertheless, Directed by the one who teachers us, The pure joy of the sun, Our music master." - Rumi. "The Essential Rumi". (Coleman Barks tr.). 1995. pp 105-106. Hi there. I've been helping my son with school projects since Monday (he did great, by the way) and, next thing I know, it's Friday evening. How has the rest of your weeks been?
As this evening winds down, let's take a moment and reflect on a letter Baba Jaimal Singh wrote to his student and friend Sawan Singh. On July 1, 1897, Babaji wrote: "Listen to the Shabd-dhun every day and hold fast to it. Erasing all your sins and karma's, it will take you to Sach Khand. At that place, not even a hint of pain or tension exists. That is the home of the Satguru, my son, and you, too, will go there. Have no worry; he will take you there after all the worldly activities are complete. Such is his divine will." Baba Jaimal Singh. "Spiritual Letters". RSSB. 1958/1998. pp. 27-28 ************************** I hope you all had a beautiful week, and that your meditations and dreams tonight are full of love and light. All my Love and Appreciation, Michael In other words, the formless God will express ItSelf in form in order to offer us something tangible upon which we can focus our attention and love.
God: in form? or formless?
God in It's ultimate state is pure, conscious, eternal, love ISNESS. In addition, in order to interact and communicate with souls who cannot grasp the eternal Isness of the Ocean of Love and Mercy, God will also express ItSelf in a way that provides a tangible image that they can grasp, digest and relate to. It does this out of Its love for souls, and this is a very great blessing. |
