“The second category of Jivas (souls in human form) are those who have some desire for Parmarth (spiritual truth and salvation). The join the Satsang of Sants by Mauj (God’s overflowing bounty), listen to and understand His discourses and solicit the help and favour of Sants and loving devotees. They correct and purify their mind and senses according to the instructions of Sants and apply themselves to the performance of the Abhyas (spiritual practices and meditation) of Surat Shabd Yoga. They daily increase their love an d faith, strive hard for progress in Parmarth and detach themselves gradually from the world and its objects. The Sant Sat Guru (One who has attained and resides in Radhasoami Desh) showers His Grace on these Jivas also, and helps them in gradually accomplishing their task.
By associating with the Sant Sat Guru and loving devotees, and by observing their conduct and behavior, these Jivas succeed, to some extent, in gaining control over their mind and begin to act like them. No difficulty or inconvenience is thus experienced in effecting transformation in their nature and conduct. On the other hand, they cheerfully and willingly try to act as Sants do. If by good luck they associate with Sants for some time, their condition is likely to be appreciably transformed.”
